Post-doctoral researcher at CIPEM - Centro de Investigação em Psicologia da Música e Educação Musical, branch of INETmd - Instituto de Etnomusicologia at Porto Polytechnic. Collaborating researcher at Instituto de Sociologia, University of Porto.

Sociology studies at Universities of Porto (BA), Coimbra (MA), Exeter (PhD) and Music Performance studies at Conservatório de Música do Porto and the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
